Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I likes me some Dirt, though. Two weeks in a row we've gotten to the 1:02 (whatEV) end and thought "We're done? Already?"

Oh, god, it's not art. Hell, I only started watching it because a friend is in it--two eps done, and two to come. And then it became a guilty pleasure.

Man, I wish The Marine hadn't sponsored both CSI eps I've watched today. Seen the trailer way too many times.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I thought Dirt was gonna be a guilty pleasure, but it just didn't suck me in. Which is a relief, really, I watch way too much TV.

With CSI opposite Scrubs and Grey's and Supernatural, I have to catch it On Demand, and the way my cable box and various recording devices are set up I have to do that when nothing is being recorded, and that is getting to be quite the chore. So it's not so much that I don't want to watch it anymore, it just takes more effort for the same payoff giving me the perception of declining returns.

I watch CSI online (uh, when I remember--it's on now, and it's hardly stopping me browsing), Supernatural live, Grey's online and I...obtain The OC from the nets.

Thursday's very busy.

Hoo boy, I put a little bit too much cayenne in that potato leek soup. I mean, my sinuses will thank me later, but damn.

I keep forgetting things are available online. That might be more convenient. I could, for example, do that now. Hm.

CSI has fallen along the wayside so I can watch the last of the OC. Completism.

Local FOX News lead story tonight? SUPERSIZED PETS.

I needed to share that.

My not-quite-supersized cat has taken over my bed. Last time he did this, he was really sick, but he's still eating and acting normal and everything else, so I'm guessing it's just him being a freaking weird cat. (Not stopping me from being more neurotic than usual, but...) And it being colder. Ever since the freezing temps set in, I fight him for the pillow and often wake up with him half under the covers by my head. My apartment isn't on average colder, but the drafts are worse.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Hm. I need to update my Match.com profile.

A friend here met a guy on Match.com. Exchanged great emails, phone calls, etc. Was very excited to meet him. They seemed to click. Until he told her he was in recovery (for drugs & alcohol). But that wasn't the deal breaker. He was in the process of re-integrating his mulitple personalities. For real.

You'd think that would be something he'd bring up at the beginning of the process.

Back to the drawing board for her.

She's still frustrated by the searches. She wants to know why all the guys (some of them no prize physical specimens themselves) all insist on "slim" or "athletic" builds for women.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Or at the very least, include some links to a couple more profiles.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Because if they make bank, they can have slim, attractive, shallow women.

If they are yucky, dumbass, AND poor, they can maybe find a slim woman with low self-esteem.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, I have heat. The apartment is not quite as warm as I'd like it to be. (I don't think that the heater in the kitchen is actually hooked up to anything yet.)

And my gray cat is so freaked out that he came out of hiding, ate his supper and then promptly disappeared again. (This never ceases to freak me out -- even though there is no way that he could have escaped. . . but then I start worrying that he's quietly dead in an odd corner of the apartment.)
