"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I've decided I want to see an HBO movie based on the astronaut story, starring Holly Hunter.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I've decided I want to see an HBO movie based on the astronaut story, starring Holly Hunter.

Heh.

I think I want to see a SciFi Channel movie based on the astronaut story, starring Holly Hunter. She would have a green alien friend that only she could see. Oh, and she might be a werewolf or something....

eta: Because an astronaut being chased by a werewolf in a diaper = comedy gold!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

When is Mardi Gras?

Forty seven days before the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox. Simple!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

20th of February! 12th night is today!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Mardi Gras season stretches from the end of Christmas (6th January) until just before the start of Lent (Ash Wednesday). The big Tuesday celebration this year will be the 20th of February.
