There are people that really have problems with alcohol and other drugs. This seems rather dismissive of real problems.

I know my heat is working it is just an old building with no exterior wall insulation and the furnace is in an office cycle. I just looked at the thermometer and it said 66. It feels colder. I have a wool hat on.

I'm having so much fun letting the cold drugs wear off so I can figure out if the past 2 days of gross feelings are bertolli's frozen fettucini alfredo, lunchables, this cold, the stuff I took to combat the cold or some other vector. Or too much root beer. Those are the only factors available.

I hate snot.

msbelle, as someone who keeps my apartment at 67 or so (when not feeling like ass and when it isn't minus 100 outside and windy which means drafts) , I suggest hot foot baths, sweats, socks, and doing a lot of handwashing in warm water. (Um, I don't do these in order to keep from raising the heat. I'm ok with 67 except for my feet and fingers. Which are not happy unless it's 80.) Hot towels around the neck help too. Actually, anything around the neck does make a difference.

huh. I found an online site that says American heritage had 'ovenable' in the dictionary in 2000. It is not in either of mine. Therefore, it is still not acceptable to me.
