I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Oh, also, now I want a golden retriever puppy. I may just steal the PuppyBowl's own "Action" Jackson.

I do not like this cold. I do not like this cold weather. My car does not like this cold weather. Shocks were like nuh-uh. I don't think so.

In summation: bleh.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's -11 degrees out.

This is what I like to hear! Because then I can think, hell, it's balmy here! 10F, FTR.

I just realized I have an assload of work to get done this week. At least my boss is out, so I won't have to waste time talking to her.....

Thrive to spite them

For those of you who liked the marching band, that was FAMU's Marching 100. If you go to YouTube and search you can find clips, granted most of those are homemade from the stands but it will still give you an idea of what they are like in person.

This morning, Tom asked, "does Turner Networks own The Weather Channel?" Because in their regional updates, not only do they not mention Boston ever, now they carefully cut the screen so that Boston does not show up at all!

They still do the local on the 8s and all, so it's fine. It's just a funny coincidence, if TWC is owned by Turner.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Happy Birthday, Victor!

Today's forecast high is 7 degrees below the average low for Feb. 5.

Because books.

It's 6 degrees here in Central NY, with a "feels like" temp of -15, and we're supposed to get snow in FEET today. Schools are, not surprisingly, closed.

Man, I need to move to Florida.

Happy Birthday, Victor! I hope there's cake in your future.

brillig

You all are getting the weather Utah had a couple of weeks ago. I am wallowing in my expected high of 42F, but I do have sympathy for you cold people.

Just not that much.

Swouncing

I had no idea it's Victor's birthday (it's not on the Buffista Calendar). Happy birthday, Victor! I hope it's a great day and a wonderful year.

Is anybody still in touch with Micole? It's her birthday, too, today, and I hadn't seen posts by her in forever. I hope the well-wishes find their way to her, somehow.
