Haven't a number of socially responsible companies run into the same conflict? Ben & Jerry's and The Body Shop come to mind.
Yeah, that sounds right. The real problem is that every industry fucks with people and/or the earth when you go back far enough. I mean, right?

I'm watching this ridiculous Identity show on Bravo, and I can't believe Jordan Knight was up there with the one contestant (plus four family members) who wouldn't recognize him.

I'm not familiar with them, but it looks like their money is actually invested by Wellington Mgmt, based on the parameters that Domini sets. That's seems solid, since Wellington is basically Vanguard (full disclosure: the mutual fund company that my consulting company chose for its 401k).
