To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice, with pie.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I deliberately avoid living in the great frozen northlands, and this is what I get?

Mr. Cold Miser won't let you get off that easily!

Well, at least the SoCal people will cry for me. Your greatfrozennorthlandliving ways have frozen your hearts!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

My coworker is going to Boston in a couple of weeks. We've been looking at him sadly and shaking our heads since we found out. We've also been calling dibs on his stuff.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

It's just a cold snap--we're supposed to get up to 23 degrees by next Friday. No big deal!

I expect my sister who is currently residing in Las Vegas to call and mock me over the weekend at some point.

I just remembered--I have to take the cat to the vet's on Monday, and it's going to be damn cold for her even in the few minutes from apartment to car! I'll have to remember to bring a towel to wrap over the carrier to protect her a bit.

Dude, I think Boston weather is better than Dallas weather these days. Probably a bit colder but we've had quite a relatively warm streak (which has come to an end but can bounce back to) and practically no snow whatsoever. like less than 2 inches totall all winter.

cereal to add: It's a crazy world when you see that Atlanta temps are lower than Boston's. Which I see on The Weather Channel occasionally!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Well, at least the SoCal people will cry for me.

I will too!

at least on the inside.

You're probably right. We're going to be at about 28 tonight. However while he's up there with y'all, we'll be in the low to mid 60's (which is right about my chilly/too cold to be outside point).

Always Anti-fascist!
