Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I noticed that bon and I's links were both the NYT story. Is this honestly not being reported elsewhere?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I searched news.yahoo.com and news.google.com for both Arizona and pedophile and came up dry. Weird.

That is strange. I don't know why there's no wire services on this. I suspect a story like this won't go UTR for long. On another note, the NYT article is really exceptional reporting.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The authorities said Mr. Stiffler and Mr. Snow were shocked, too, and angry about being duped by an adult posing as a minor.

They'd better thank their lucky stars that it was a twentysomething adult and not a 12-year old that they were having sex with—they probably can't be sent up the river for as long just for fraud.

That's a very strange story.

Why am I trying to debug a java app? I don't know jackshit about java. Jeez, people! I'd like the week over now.

Love this!

A linguistics professor was lecturing to his class one day. "In English," he said, "a double negative forms a positive. In some languages, though, such as Russian, a double negative is still a negative. However, there is no language wherein a double positive can form a negative."

A voice from the back of the room piped up, "Yeah, right."

This was Sidney Morgenbesser, and the story I've heard is "Yeah, yeah."

The pedophile story is shocking! There are plenty of students, though, who look much older than 12 at my school. Both boys and girls. It's occassionally hard to remember how old they really are.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This was Sidney Morgenbesser, and the story I've heard is "Yeah, yeah."

And it wasn't a class, it was a linguistics conference.
