yeah-- not serious though. I just didn't move away from the crack pad fast enough.

Ack! I thought Perkins was the not so scratchy one.
Not his fault, really. I was just slow
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I just got home. From, among other things, exchanging my medium knee brace for a large. This is taking some mental adjustment, because last time I bought a knee brace, I was a small. I'm good with going up one size, startled by going up too.
I think the coffee I just had broke the back of the migraine. Next time I should try having it before teaching. The migraines make me cranky and either reclusive or obnoxious (well, or both, but no one gets to experience the brattiness but me). Tonight was obnoxious. There was neck licking. Not in a lascivious way, but more in an attempt to gross out.
Grossed out everyone but the person whose neck I was licking, which is...I guess it's flattering in some way.
I should sleep. But I have nothing doing tomorrow AM, so I might check out that TiVo thing, or finish up on the Apple trailer site. I'm so behind.
Ah, crack pad injury. That'll happen.
I should go to sleep too, what with that having to get up in the morning thing.
what with that having to get up in the morning thing.
Ha ha!
Oh, wait. Paycheque. Never mind.
As for that whole crack pad thing...of course it was going to go bad! Addiction always does! TV said so.
Good night, Lee.
Cats will scratch the hand that gives them the crack pad. It's a known fact.
Ah yes, the kitty crack pad wound. I have a couple of those myself. Glad to hear the coffee helped, ita. I am all about the miraculous powers of caffeine.
I, too, am going to at least attempt sleep now since I have that early alarm as well.
Sure, gainfully employed people, get your rest.
Glad the coffee is doing its job, ita.
According to Topic!Cindy "If the Apocalypse Comes, Beep Me" Feb 1, 2006 1:02:15 pm PST today is Olivia's very first birthday!
Happy birthday, Olivia! Happy Olivia-birthday, Cashmere!
So, there's all kind of talk this morning about the "generational gap" regarding the Aqua Teen Hunger Force ads. I guess I still fall into the age range of "understanding" even though I didn't know what they were. So, maybe what I'm about to say is just proving their generation gap arguments.
I think Boston looks like a bunch of idiots. Don't get me wrong. I think Turner did a really stupid thing and should have to pay, but I can't believe it took 9 of these things to get them to figure out what they were. I just...I watched Katie Couric last night, and she said something like, "These things have been in seen in nine other cities without incident," I just thought, "Oh, great. We look like big idiots."
On the other hand, I'm impressed with the police, etc. that responded. They took it seriously and responded quickly. It's good to know that if something actually happened, they would be on top of it.
