Big crashes on both sides of Lake Shore where I get on it. Lovely. And mang, how much it must suck to be standing out there right now.

Yeah, definately. It was useless. It wasn't even entertaining!bad. Just cheap and dumb.Oh good. My tv recorded the wrong channel. I am sure I will see it eventually but I won't stress until then.
JZ! Comedy Central has been screwing with me too. It tricked my Tivo into recording that jackass with the charts and told me it was Scrubs.
ION, got my first lovely paycheck from the new job and my vacation from the old one. I'm in a bill paying frenzy this morning. Love.
The last few times when it suddenly got way colder, I overreacted and overdressed and ended up all sweaty when I got to the train station. Today I wore the right amount of clothes. I declare my day's first crisis: averted.
Also, wtf is up with my boss's dog? Every day, when she first sees me she seems wary. Then after I pet her and scratch her behind her ears she's my best buddy.
Today she growled at me when she saw me. And her hackles were up. I have a feeling she's just not very smart. One time she was nervously walking away from me, but she was watching me and not where she was going and she walked right into a wall.
(She's a German shepherd.)
I wasn't as horribly dismayed by House as others, but I wasn't very entertained.
I am Theo. The only thing really likable about this episode was Hugh Laurie's acting. I could not, for the life of me, figure out why they put in the Cameron story line. It didn't give us any new insight into her and I don't think she grew from the experience in any way, so why bother? As for House's father, well, it gives us a little bit more explanation for why House doesn't get along with his father. Did we really need to know that? I don't think so, but I'm willing to see if there's a payout for it further on down the line.
Huh -- I assumed that House was lying about the child abuse, both times. She wanted a narrative, so he gave her one, in order to avoid talking about his leg. So that didn't bother me so much.
I just don't see what the point of the episode was, on any level. I mean, "House isn't all that mean to rape victims!" is hardly an earth-shattering character reveal, you know?
I had a hard time making up my mind if House was telling the truth or not. I decided the second time he was. He's a lying liar, so it's up to us as the viewer to decide just when he is lying. He lies to his team more than he lies to patients, so I'm more willing to believe he told the girl the truth the second time around. He was too glib the first time and she called him on it. The second time, it was unembellished and fit with what we know of his father.
I'm with Jessica. Laurie sold the story both times, but I'm not convinced we were supposed to believe the second iteration. He lies, too.
Much as I love Laurie and would listen to him reading the phone book, I didn't understand how anyone was supposed to buy this episode. She wants to talk to House, and no one else? Okaaay. Even a young woman who has been raped and is understandably distraught might have some idea that the staff of her local hospital isn't there simply to chat. It was a lame setup.
