I just saw Hayden Panettiere from Heroes singing in a video on The Disney Channel. I had no idea she could sing.
Congratulations, Kalshane.

Now what/where is this Nikita wank?
Deep, deep in the bowels of Nikita fandom. No sane person ventures there willingly.
can someone come run all of my errands for me? really not that much, just laundry, po, grocery, and maybe a thrift store drop off. all within 3 blocks.
soooo not wanting to do those today intersperced with playground, library, and lunch with a friend new to mac (who he HAS to meet as she is back-up pick-up person from afterschool).
Timelies all!
Hmmm, it's been quiet here. Too quiet...
I'm in the middle of watching Torchwood and getting ready to make breakfast.
I think I need to turn the heaters up -- it was so warm yesterday that I turned the main one down -- but it's feeling pretty chilly in here now. My plans: finish watching Torchwood (I'm on episode five and only have eps 1-8) and uh, stay warm and finish knitting my scarf (I'm 2" away from done with the knitting part.)
Allyson, you can link to the file from LJ, but they only provide image hosting.
Theo, are your sinus headaches migraines? You might be treating them wrong.
Allyson, can I assume that's the TAL thing? I know LJ does voice-posts, but I don't think that's the same thing. You could however upload it to YSI or one of the other file-hosting services.
Congratulations, Kalshane!
Theo, I hope your sinus headache improves. I'm finally over my sinus infection, I think, after nearly a month of suffering. Just as well, since my health insurance ended yesterday.
... weird. I've got a week off and no travel planned for it, for the first time in 8 years. Today I will go to the hardware store and the dry-cleaners and start scheduling the rest of my week. Lunches with friends! Maybe a massage! Hiring a gardener to deal with the jungle that is my yard.
I hope the new job will allow me more time with the Buffistas, but I kind of doubt it. OTOH, alternate Fridays off, woot!
I woke up at 5:45 this morning, head spinning with jobbishness. It's going to take a while to decompress, I think.
I just wanted a few friends to hear it so I could get hairpats and reassurance that I'm not on crack for sending it. NoiseDesign did an amazing job for me (i still feel bad for taking up so much of his time), but now I'm second guessing myself on whether it was the right story for TAL.
It may just be that I've read it too many times.
You know, I have no question that whichever story it was, it was appropriate for TAL.
I hope they are wise enough to accept it, because that would be awesome.
Hmm, I'm about to spend $50 on books about historic lighthouses on Amazon, and I think I'll be able to write it off as research for my new job. That's kind of cool.

Are you to become a mariner?
Allyson, you've already sent it off, right? You're not trying to second guess yourself and all of us, are you?
Ah, jobbishness, sweet jobbishness. Congratulations again, 'Suela.
I have one job opportunity where the guy concerned is lax about calling me back, but insistent that he's about to get right on it (insistent to me and one of his co-workers, who I know from krav). My every reflex is to keep calling him and reminding him, since I, unlike him, have very little to do. My every other (see, I have plenty) says to leave him alone, and not be a nag. Even though his co-worker seems to think continual calling is no problem.
So I'm trying to pick a ratio of second-guessing. Every second day of wanting to nag, I give in? Dunno. Luckily it's the weekend. I last called him Wednesday. So...Monday, right?
Fucked if I know.
Coyote on Deadwood! Cool.
I liked Deadwood more in the beginning, I think. It seems to have slowed down quite a bit as I reach the end of the first season. Second season is still in the Netflix queue, though.
