Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hmmm... I see a lot of radical crocheting, not radical knitting.

Okay, I'm a purist.

Subversive Knitting

Subersive knitters frankly are a threat to national security and need to be locked up. We're just lucky to have an attorney general who doesn't let implied "rights" in the "constitution" get in the way.

t whine So the file that made me stay last night until 2am in the university? The one I had to finish and e-mail before leaving? Yup, there was a problem in the university e-mail's server, it decided that my e-mail was spam, didn't send it, and what's worse - didn't let me know that it wasn't sent. So I came here after teaching, trusting there would be comments and corrections in time for me to fix them, only to discover that everybody was in an uproar because my file was missing and the deadline is upon us and I wasn't there. I was nearly in tears. The one thing I stayed up so late in order to try to prevent, and of course it Murphied on me.

t /whine (even though it never really closes)

So I decided that the way for the universe to compensate me is to play on b.org while I edit in the changes now. Especially since it probably means that this is going to be another not-so-short night.

[Edit: oh, and the universe just signaled that I made the right choice, because my post #? 5+7=12, and it's all like a secret code in reverse and stuff, because it has 17 spelled backwards in it, too!]

Sorry that happened Nilly. Bad e-mail server, no biscuit.

Vice President Dick Cheney on Wednesday dismissed as "hogwash" the suggestion that blunders may have hurt the administration's credibility on Iraq and led members of Congress on both sides of the aisle to question President Bush's plan to send more troops to Baghdad.

Nobody denies reality like Cheney.

How are things over there aside from badly behaved servers?
