awww, poor mac. I'm glad he is better now.
Just hope he doesn't bounce, since you are SO MEAN about such things.

please refer to previous post re: bounce.
ok, task 1 is done. now on to task 2, a task I had to reprimand taskee on today since 1)he had not done what I asked in an email Monday 2)or what my boss had asked in an email last week and 3)he asked what to do next today, I told him and then he ASKED MY BOSS if what I said to do was OK?!?!?
Date night with DH is a no go. A few years back my mom offered us to watch the kids one night a week so we could have a regular date night. She lives with us, so it is not like we would have to take the kids to her...but the date nights never happened. DH couldn't commit to anything and refused to organize anything.
Would you be opposed to scripting out your own date night? Say telling DH you want dinner at (local place you like here), then to go to the (specific time) showing of (movir you wnat to see) at (movie theater of your choice) - or you know other activity.
I organized and threw my own b'day parties for 5-6 years and they were biggish events, so I realize I have a skewed look at this stuff.
I tend to choose my own birthday celebrations, so i know I'll like them.
Me too.
Tonight's scores:
Cooking defrosted chicken: 0
Vietnamese takeout: 1
Bob shaving his own face: 0
Bob suggesting I shave his face: 1
Good shaves: 0
blood: 3
Naked Trucker and T-Bones first five minutes: 5
Knights of Prosperity: 0
Sorry to all those that bet on cooking, clean shaves and Donal Logue.
Were I to do that, my birthday celebration would be in North Beach, sans DH. See - that is the problem. I'd rather party without him than with him. Yes, bigger issues at play here.
We could party in North beach....
Is last night's Gilmore Girls worth watching? I am getting the sense that it might not be.
Well then I guess the safe/best thing to do is to ask for a tangible gift item. food item you love rarely have? LUSH items? gift card? book?
