And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

There was an episode of SNL where Matt Damon was hosting, and there was a skit where he was doing a really exagerated accent, and somehow managed to get about four syllables into the word "queer." (Quee-ay-yuh-uh, sort of.)

Oh yeah, I can totally do that. NOT THAT I WOULD. Please don't send me away!

You guys!

I was thinking of a kiddie leash.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was thinking of a kiddie leash.

Is that like leashing a minor? I can help with tips.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

If you're confused as to what the "margin of error" is in a survey, here is an excellent explanation: [link]

I studied this in college (being an Actuary Science major and all) but this was a good refresher for me. It's not too terribly technical. The article ends with a description of the way the popular media misrepresents what the "margin of error" is in a survey. Spoiler: They almost never get it right.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

OK, I'm driving myself crazy trying to figure out how I pronounce words. And I just called my mom to ask her how she pronounces some words, and now she's annoyed at me for making her drive herself crazy trying to figure out how she pronounces words. (The way I say them, quarter, water, and daughter rhyme -- all of them with an "aw" sound in the first syllable. She's got the "aw" sound in daughter, but "ah" in quarter and water. When I was in college, everyone from outside the Northeast thought I was very weird for not pronouncing the first "r" in "quarter.")

Where'd everyone go? I wanted to tie up a minor!
