I just found out something myself. Wikipedia claims that the word "hosey" is a local word for me.
We used this all the time (in my family with 7 siblings) to claim a chair that we were temporarily departing. Of course, they said the entimology was MA and ME, so it's appropos.
Now I've got see if Wikipedia has "gormy", "goarmy" or "gormey".
