Spike: Lots of fuss over one girl. Other things to do around here--important things. Angel: You know that whoosh thing you do when you're suddenly not there anymore? I love that.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Was it a Chihuahua, per chance? I have a friend whose Chi hates just about every other dog on the planet and isn't afraid to show it.

Westie, I think? Some kind of mid-size terrier.

Actually, some friends of mine have the same kind of dog, with the same name even, who also hates her. I'm sure it's some longstanding inter-breed feud, the details of which are lost to history.

And for the triple -

Neighbor just came to my door crying and apologizing. And despite my bitching, while it's annoying as fuck, I'm not actually angry are her - it's a dog, you know? You can't always control these things. But man, I wish he'd get the fuck over it.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

How many weeks until Spring Training?
Dunno. But racing starts next weekend and Ima giddy kind of girl.

I'm sure it's some longstanding inter-breed feud, the details of which are lost to history.
Ah... Sharks and Jets...

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Man, Soldier Field looks like a slip-n-slide.

It's probably not called Soldier Field any more. It's probably Cingular Wireless Field.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Argh, such a shame. This is one of those times when it would be so much more convenient if you could just sit digs down and talk some sense into them. "Y'all are neighbors, okay, Lucy will sometimes be in your vicinity. Just chill."

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Nope, it's still Soldier Field (they can rename our Marshall Field's, but they won't take away our Soldier Field!). Cingular Wireless Field is the old Comiskey Park.

So will Comiskey be AT&T, now? And isn't there another AT&T Park?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

brenda, what breed of dog is Lucy?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Anyone else having problems watching the game with Comcast? The signal is breaking up fairly often.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Chihuahua

one of my neighbors/friends has a Chihuahua. Annabelle Peapod. H is one of the people that dog owners go to for help when they are having problems with thier dogs. Ms. Annabelle got lots of socialization as a pup, she only gets the shakes when she remembers to get them. But she still has the small dog complex going on . She chased a rotwieler puppy the other day. and she still tries to chase the 15 lb cat. all less than 8 lbs of her. She is not supposed to do these things, but H and L can't always catch her. she's wiley.
