Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Chihuahua

one of my neighbors/friends has a Chihuahua. Annabelle Peapod. H is one of the people that dog owners go to for help when they are having problems with thier dogs. Ms. Annabelle got lots of socialization as a pup, she only gets the shakes when she remembers to get them. But she still has the small dog complex going on . She chased a rotwieler puppy the other day. and she still tries to chase the 15 lb cat. all less than 8 lbs of her. She is not supposed to do these things, but H and L can't always catch her. she's wiley.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

If you're looking to go halfway, Katie, there's an IKEA in New Haven, CT, that really should be about halfway between you and most NYC-type NY state places.

Well, there's a thought. It'd be like an eensy teensy grad school reunion! (Though the IKEA is new since we were there, I think.)

New dryer is electric, so that should be fine. And it's not that I mind the pizza, you understand. I've missed good pizza. It's just funny, you know? "Pizza... pizza... pizza... hey, look, it's pizza!" Like drive-through espresso stands back in the last place I lived.

Anyone else having problems watching the game with Comcast? The signal is breaking up fairly often.

No problem out here in Wheeling, tommyrot. Other than the fact that Fox has a 2-3 second delay on the broadcast, so listening to the radio and watching is a bit confusing.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This is an odd game. Things are going very well for Chicago, except they've only scored nine points....

I don't care if they get all of their points from Robbie Gould, as long as they continue shutting down the Saints offense and win!!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Gotta love the no-contact-fumble

I love that Charles Tillman (Bears defense) has the nickname of "Peanut." He is "only" 6'1", and he looks tiny compared to the defensive line.

Yeah I remember thinking Scotty Pippin seemed small. Mom saw him on an escalator at O'Hare and said he was head-and-shoulders above everyone else.
