Now tagless for your comfort.

Owen is wearing his new Colts jersey. I have no idea what I'm going to do with DH once football season is over. He gets antsy.

How many weeks until Spring Training?

Brenda, sorry about Lucy's run-in with Neighbor Dog. Was it a Chihuahua, per chance? I have a friend whose Chi hates just about every other dog on the planet and isn't afraid to show it.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

How many weeks until Spring Training?

Pitchers and catchers report in less than 4 weeks.

eta - Feb 14th-18th depending on the team.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

(eta: the dog thing, not the bar thing)

Well, the timing's right, since now I'm kind of pissy.

It's just - aside from the annoyance of it - Lucy, as gentle as she is, is a fierce looking dog. She almost never engages with dogs who are aggressive, just totally ignores it. But as she gets older, she has less patience, with little dogs or puppies especially, when they really try to get in her face.

And god forbid anything did ever happen, because seriously, she could crunch Murphy like a bug if she ever got the notion to. Obviously, I don't want either dog hurt. But also, anyone who didn't know the dogs in question would make some reasonable, yet totally erroneous, assumptions about where the fault lay. I don't ever want to get into that kind of situation.

Westie, I think? Some kind of mid-size terrier.

Actually, some friends of mine have the same kind of dog, with the same name even, who also hates her. I'm sure it's some longstanding inter-breed feud, the details of which are lost to history.

And for the triple -

Neighbor just came to my door crying and apologizing. And despite my bitching, while it's annoying as fuck, I'm not actually angry are her - it's a dog, you know? You can't always control these things. But man, I wish he'd get the fuck over it.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

How many weeks until Spring Training?
Dunno. But racing starts next weekend and Ima giddy kind of girl.

I'm sure it's some longstanding inter-breed feud, the details of which are lost to history.
Ah... Sharks and Jets...

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Man, Soldier Field looks like a slip-n-slide.

It's probably not called Soldier Field any more. It's probably Cingular Wireless Field.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Argh, such a shame. This is one of those times when it would be so much more convenient if you could just sit digs down and talk some sense into them. "Y'all are neighbors, okay, Lucy will sometimes be in your vicinity. Just chill."

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Nope, it's still Soldier Field (they can rename our Marshall Field's, but they won't take away our Soldier Field!). Cingular Wireless Field is the old Comiskey Park.

So will Comiskey be AT&T, now? And isn't there another AT&T Park?
