Last week I was talking with a friend at Arisia whom I don't see very often. He's an EMT, so I get all kinds of good stories from him, but as we paused he noticed the back of my hand, and spoke glowingly of the obvious health of my veins, which are all protrudy and blue. Said he'd volunteer any time to run an IV for me.
