Kalshane , so sorry , but I expect better things are on the way to you.
magnetic knifeholder for small kitchens..
1) measure side of fridge
2) cut board to that length.
3) put two strips of strong magnetic tape on both sides of board( glue and staple into place)
4) put board on fridge
5) put knives on board.
and Matt has a grinding stone that he uses to sharpen knives, chisles, and plane blades.
Oh good lord. CrazyBigBoss just lost
another
executive assistant. With no notice, unless you cound the rest of today. This one lasted six weeks, far outstripping the prior EA, who only made it five.
Brenda - are you working for Murphy Brown?
If you do it wrong it'll just tell you where to change things.
Got confused trying to factor in the krav job with its irregular pay. Does it mean they're my employer now? Feels weird to say either yes or no to that.
Nora - do you covet the magnetic knife holder because you lack the space for one, or are you just wanting and not yet getting?
We have one strip that we got from IKEA that one time once, but it's not robust enough to hold the knives in the position we want them. So we need to get another one, and we are just, you know, lazy and forgetting that we want it when we actually have the opportunity to lay down the mad $3 to acquire one.
We get easily distracted by shiny things or beer.
ATK has convinced me I need a garlic press, stat. I heard from one food industry friend long ago that they were of teh devil, but every time I watch ATK and they just squirt that garlic out, it makes me long for one.
Tom and I walk a AB/CI-ATK philosphical line.
Does it mean they're my employer now?
I wouldn't call them your employer. You probably have more of a freelance type job with them? No?
Ooh, Black & Decker! Good to know.
And excellent idea, beth. If I ever actually fill up the magnet I've got up, I may try the fridge mount for the 2nd one.
Okay, it is friggin' Arctic in LA today, and the incredibly high winds keep threatening to peel either the roof or the front face off of our building. It's freaking me out.
Immersion blender. I just got one for christmas and they are perfectly suited for this kind of activity.
That would work, too! And probably would require less storage space.
And... what's evil about a garlic press?
Okay, it is friggin' Arctic in LA today
And it's supposed to be 70 here tomorrow. that shit ain't right. (although I enjoy not having to turn on the heat or bundle up)
