It totally rocks, sumi, try it.
Top Chef: WTF is right, for both things! That was just completely wrong and upsetting. I hate Marcel with the best of them, but yeesh.
Anyway. I'm glad they'll get their shot in Hawaii, but I think this competition has turned really ugly. I wish they'd found some other way to work out their problems. It's just not fun to watch.
Also? What is up with Elia and chocolate? The fumes must trigger her breakdowns or something.
Oh, about food on the plate? Turns out I had the opposite thing. Evidently I almost always left food on the plate, at least a bite. I never knew I did it, though, until my SO finally told me. I knew I did for like, fast food. I'd get to the end and the last bite would just seem completely unappetizing. But I didn't realize I did it always. Very odd. But the small plate thing seems to have cured that, too.
The new Class Protector Medal?
I think I may have food poisoning.
A friend swears by espresso with lemon juice. In France, I got great fizzy lemon tablets from the pharmacist when I had food poisoning (needless to say, with their tendency to recommend suppositories for almost anything, I was relieved). So maybe something like Emergen-C would help? I've also heard cider vinegar. I guess the theory is kill whatever bacteria is causing it.
On a hopefully unrelated note, Top Chef:
Well, that just sucked. I wish Cliff had go home for his boring/not great dish instead of that. But I think that he was completely out of line.
Lee, this is ungood. You okay? I mean, in the scope of not needing immediate medical attention as obviously having food poisoning is not really okay.
Lee, should you go to the ER or urgent care?
Not okay, but no ER or urgent care needed, at least so far. I suspect this is more the alternating getting sick with lying on the sofa feeling sorry for myself kind of thing.
Oh Lee, I'm so sorry. Nothing worse in the world than food poisoning.
{{{Lee}}} Oof. Sorry. I hope it goes away quickly.
