Jayne: That's a good idea. Good idea. Tell us where the stuff's at so I can shoot you. Mal: Point of interest? Offering to shoot us might not work so well as an incentive as you might imagine.

Jesus, fuck! Are there no alternatives? That's serious quality-of-life impact.

Haven't explored alternative migraine meds yet, since up til now I've been doing fine with Aleve and its knockoffs. The big issue for me isn't pain, since they're rarely incapacitating in that respect, but that an untreated migraine will mess up my vision bad enough that I can't do page layout or illustration for most of a work day (as opposed to the hour or so it takes naproxen to make auras and light sensitivity go away).

Do you really have to stay on the cholesterol meds? Can you go to a lower dose now that your numbers are down? Would lifestyle changes help? If I were you, at your age, I would go for the pain meds over the cholesterol meds, unless there's other reasons that you are at serious health risk right now that your choleterol needs to be lowered.

I think I'm going to either upgrade to something major-league that won't interfere with the liver, or choose to have way high cholesterol. The cholesterol count is a genetic thing, I guess—I eat mostly lean grilled meat (and trim away visible fat), no gravy, no eggs, no milk or ice cream, sparing olive oil margarine on bread or potatoes, no baked desserts except holidays or birthdays... I guess I could give up the occasional hamburger and semi-monthly pizza, and trade cheese for calcium supplements, but I was eating a fairly healthy diet except for salt content already.

CBS has the TAR11 page up.

I can always count on sumi for keeping me up-to-date on my reality shows!

As for TAR 11: Yeah for Oswald/Danny and John/Jill, although I'm sad to read they are no longer dating. People I have no desire to see on my TV again: Charla/Mirna, Teri/Ian, and, especially, Dustin/Kandice. Ugh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thunder! Big thunder!

Or Santa Monica exploded.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Did you know that if you google t ingredient + "recipe", Google asks if you want to search specifically for recipes? And offers categories and the like? It's a little freaky.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Somehow I thoughts chimps weighed less than this.

Because they mostly show baby chimps and less-than-fullgrown chimps on TV. Because a full grown chimp is much stronger than a human and it's hard to control them.

Thunderstorm!

Whee!

At least it's not as boring as plain cold.

I need to make another cuppa and curl up in the donut lounge.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Whoa. What can't Google do? I was surprised when I Googled the name of a movie and it automatically gave me showtimes for theatres close to me (based on my home location in Google Maps).

Does Hec not like cats? I have somehow missed this. Or does he only not like cats without short hair?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

That is so cool. I lurves my Google.

ION, it is freakin' cold here today. Like take your breath away when you walk outside cold. I think it is 18 right now. The good news is that I am home where I have heat and I am fine. Yay!

You must be even younger than I thought.
