I am not...I am not the damsel in distress. I am not some case. I have to work this. I've lived in a cave for 5 years in a world where they killed my kind like cattle. I am not going to be cut down by some monster flu. I am better than that. What a wonder...how very scared I am.

It's called Trader Joes. I lived without naan for 28 years, woman! (OK, so I had green chile and navajo flatbread, but still. Naan!)

70 is too cool! I don't break out the shorts until the mid-80s.

but for sleeping, sara? 70 is warm.

NAAN. WANT NAAN NOW. But I have to admit, TJs Naan is my least fave. I want fresh hot naan from great india cafe.

One thing I love about loading all these cds is that I'm recovering all these beloved song, like Cowboy Junkies This Street, This Man, This Life and Southern Rain, not to mention the entire Trinity Sessions album. Can't wait until Lay it Down!

I didn't dispute that, I don't think? Summer weight blanket, it's my concession to lower electric bills. It's cool for general purposes, which ain't sleeping.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Man, I *love* the Trinity Sessions. Takes me way back. Misguided Angel, Walking After Midnight, Mining for Gold, that great version of Blue Moon -- good, good stuff. Oh, and Sweet Jane, before the Tarantino movie got ahold of it.

While I'm having loose posting because I'm stuck at the 'puter until I can finally go to bed...

I love the line "the great-grandsons of General Robert E Lee are making love/ with a little help/ from STP"

I'm not sure why. Cracks me up.

Man, I forgot how much I love THIS song too (Oregon Hill.)

Steph, Trinity was my first exposure to CJ. It's very, very dear to me. Misguided Angel does all sorts of fucked up things to me.

One of the best concerts I ever went to was in the spring of '87, when they opened for U2 in the (teeny) Hartford Civic Center. It was the first leg of the Joshua Tree tour, before they (U2) went all stadium.
