Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Honestly, I don't even have an iPod, and I love having all my music in the computer.

But waiting until it's all at my fingertips, because I'm a completist like that. Sigh.

Preaching to the choir babe. I got my iPod just over a year ago, and, besides a few speciality things for parties, when did I get around to making real playlists? Right now. (Of course, it took me until May to upgrade my laptop so that I could put iTunes on it.)

ETA: Currently working on car tunes

I had 4 Gb free space on my computer. The ipod prompted me to get an external (Um, because the damned wee black gadget has 3x the empty space the computer does!) I honestly wouldn't have gotten around to it otherwise. Hell, I can back up the 'puter now! I find it funny.

It's funny. I never even thought about getting an external until my iPod. Heaven forbid I can't easily back up my music, unlike, say, my dissertation.

You are my people. I only upgraded the OS recently (see my freakouts when I unsucessfully tried to remember my password in Tech) so I could use the ipod. I'd upgraded last summer because it was ridic that I'd had 1.5 year old OS disks for, um...6 months at that point and Dad wanted them back for some old system stuff.

This is where I need my own personal assistant, because left to my own devices...well, I'm dragged, screaming and boneheaded.

The Unit: I WAS SO RIGHT.

Heck, I could back up my laptop on the ipod...

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

So I was reading a book that said i should sleep in a room that is cool, like 70 degrees and I scoffed. Seriously? The house is 66 or so when we sleep.

Weirdness. I'm enjoying all of the GG pics.

I turn the heat down to 65 with my winter comforter. With the summer one, I turn the a/c, when it works, to 70. Otherwise I wake up all sweaty and gross.

but the idea that 70 = cool just made me laugh.
