Thrive to spite them

There's a side profile pic of Beyonce somewhere that is much more flattering.

I'm wondering what Cameron Diaz was on when she got talked into wearing her dress.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

she is wide, ya know and I never feel like she fully dresses to deal with that.

I think she's dressing to accentuate the wide, but not to flatter it.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'm wondering what Cameron Diaz was on when she got talked into wearing her dress.

I think you get a fashion pass post-breakup, but her fashion choices have seldom been wise ones, so maybe not. The hair just looked harsh, and I've totally forgotten what the dress looked like as a result.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Julia-Louis Dreyfuss was also wearing a short dress that seemed more cocktail party than awards ceremony.

My local news singled-out Vanessa Williams for most glamourous. Hoooo-kay.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Worst speech:
1. Forrest Whitaker. (He better pull it together because he's probably going to win the Oscar).

I completely disagree. His speech was not clever or witty, but it was heartfelt. He was truly overwhelmed. A lot of actors of his caliber would be blasé, but he was honored and absolutely speechless. And not in a Hugh Laurie way (who was the best speech)

How does she balance?

She’s sticking her ass out. She doesn’t have that much. Looks good, though.

don;t make me cut you, bitch

With my crow’s feet. You know those thinks are like knives.

I'm wondering what Cameron Diaz was on when she got talked into wearing her dress.

Or not to comb her hair. Maybe they said “It’s like the Project Runway dress, but so much worse! I mean, better!”

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

For some reason most of msbelle's pictures link to Martin Scorcese, which is actually pretty funny!

Also, was Reese Witherspoon sitting at a table with Jack Nicholson? Sort of like a table for single, high profile people who didn't have movies up for awards?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I completely disagree. His speech was not clever or witty, but it was heartfelt. He was truly overwhelmed. A lot of actors of his caliber would be blasé, but he was honored and absolutely speechless.

Pffft. That's the third major award he's won on his Sherman's March to the Oscars. He should stop being surprised by now.

Mind, I'm a huge Forest fan and have been since Color of Money.

I just dislike the American penchant for blubbery quiplessness. They're obliged to Be Real by not having a prepared speech, but now it's just another cliche. Besides after having seen Halle Berry have a freakin' heart attack when she won her Oscar, nobody else is going to compare.

What is even happening?

Oh, ha. You know what's surreal? Having your supervisor's daughter bring you a picture she colored for you while you're in the middle of reading about the dude who goatse'd MySpace.

shrift, what does "goatse'd" mean? I'm afraid to read the article.

Has anyone else gotten the forwarded email about how Barack Obama is a muslim and he shouldn't be in the white house because of it?

Grrr.

Ugh, Kat.

Not to mention, he isn't. He's a Congregationalist, and speaking as one, he maybe shouldn't be in any elected office because of that, because politics can never satisfy the urge for bureaucracy, the way the UCC can.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Vanessa Williams for most glamourous.

With her Hair of Giganticness?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Also, was Reese Witherspoon sitting at a table with Jack Nicholson? Sort of like a table for single, high profile people who didn't have movies up for awards?

Er, The Departed ?

All of msbelle's Yahoo links show me Martin Scorsese, so I don't know what's going on!
