Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

brillig

I want to find out which foods spread brain worms, but that would involve researching brain worms, and the whole thing makes me fling my arms around in a "get away!" mode, which is not conducive to efficient Internet searching.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, when I was unemployed, I considered it a good day if I went for a walk.

What is even happening?

Connie, the culprit here was human cooks, already infested, who did not wash their hands after using the bathroom. It wasn't the food.

The article did cite pork as a meat to be especially careful with, that all meats need to be cooked thoroughly, and noted that fruits and veggies should be washed, but the real point was, "Wash your hands."

Now tagless for your comfort.

What I want to know is why aren't they chasing down the food carts that are spreading the scary brain worms????

Happy Birthday, msbelle!

Art Crawl!!!

Don't worry megan, there are two more hours of 24 on tonight.

And it's snowing here too!

I'm excited because they were predicting freezing rain and sleet. Snow is so much better.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Grrrr. The pilot light wont stay lit and so I've been freezing. I called the Gas Company, and they can't send anyone for two weeks.

So I said, "it'll be 80 degrees in two weeks, nevermind."

SO COLD.

Happy Birthday Msbelle!

My roasted chicken soup exploded in the microwave. I've never had that happen with chicken & rice soup or any other variation. Does the roasting process involve cordite?

Did you have container sealed?

Because books.

We had a baked potato explode in the oven yesterday. Had holes poked in it and everything. I'm standing there pouring a cup of tea and BOOM. It was pretty funny, actually. Especially since I didn't have to clean it up.

Holy crap. My parents' gas company is like "ahhh, don't touch anything! We're coming!" even over simple stuff like re-lighting the pilot after an outage. One guy sternly lectured my dad for re-lighting the water heater (which is kind of hilarious. ) I think they'd have a heart attack over a pilot light not staying lit.

I'm told BGE will do that stuff too, but I've never tested it.
