Happy Birthday msbelle!!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

thank you all.

work + mac was not a good combo. I expected as much, but my mood is now really just not for public consumption.

I should add that my shoulder that has been hurting for a week, it sparked up with extra pain that I am attributing to last night's yoga. I mean I am sure the yoga was good for it, but the good is equaling more pain now, occassional spasms.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Happy Birthday, msbelle!

Christ. I'm just glad the word is "cooks" and not what I originally read (and typed).
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww

You'd think it would be the other way around, but it's counter intuitive.
It really is. The hair should wear away and the constant friction would be irritating.

I think my brain wants to short out now for thinking about these things. Understandably.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I mean I am sure the yoga was good for it, but the good is equaling more pain now, occassional spasms.

That seems... counterintuitive.

Christ. I'm just glad the word is "cooks" and not what I originally read

Yeah, me too.

I hope your day improves.

I have a work rant, but typing it out would be more effort than I'm willing to extend towards it beyond rolling my eyes. Suffice to say, it's goofy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't feel like eating any of the food I have in the house for lunch. Bah!

Damn. I can't believe I missed "24".

Of course, I also can't believe I spent the whole morning preparing a cover letter and resume for a publishing job in SF only to learn that I had to apply with an online form. Grr. Aaargh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

msbelle, that's no way for an ordinary day to go, much less your birthday. Either a do-over, or extra great rest of the day to fix the average.

Howling child in next apartment over. Oy.

I would like a job. This search process is slow. I've had at least one iron in the fire the entire time I've been unemployed, but my turnover rate is sorely lacking.

I wish I had anything to show for all the free time too.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Well, the nice thing about free time is that you *don't* have to have anything to show for it. Can't really help with the wanting a job bit. You could come here and teach music or do engineering in the studio, heavens know there's more work in this bitty town than we can keep up with. Which is just odd.

brillig

I want to find out which foods spread brain worms, but that would involve researching brain worms, and the whole thing makes me fling my arms around in a "get away!" mode, which is not conducive to efficient Internet searching.
