I have MLK day off, but not Presidents' day. Or most of the other Monday ones, come to think of it.

OK, bon? You made me snort myself into wakefulness.
Of tired bored hungry Friday cancer.
I'm dying of tired bored sudden-food-coma-onset Friday cancer.
That is very sad, bon bon.
For a moment, I was worried that your cancer was contagious, but then I realized I just finished my breakfast bagel.
I've got MLK day off, and for the weekend I am going up to a house Northern Vermont to an annual event a friend of a friend has called "Baconfest"

You can all help cure Friday afternoon cancer.

It can make a difference.
Oh, and a pizza, or something.
oh my goodness (from a kid at school)
Ahahah! There's something awesome when little kids come out with earnest exclamations.
Interesting that two of the "firsts" are words on that list. I mean, not surprising, but ...it's just interesting!
I am apparently physically unable to focus on the one (slightly complicated) task I have to do today.
In better news, I finally bought more Advil!!! (Or, actually, store-brand ibuprofin.)
I have Monday off! It's MLK Day and my brother's birthday AND BSG Season 3 Marathon Day!!!
Of course, the next holiday I have off is Memorial Day. But I get from Christmas Eve through New Year's Day off so I really shouldn't complain.
I hate job interviews, but quite honestly, I got more comfortable after having gone on a few. (It had been three years since my last interview; skills get rusty.) It's important even if you don't want the job, because it's less pressure to perform, and you get a chance to practice your questions and answers.
I understand that, which is why I'm going. And it's been almost 10 years for me, and my interview for my previous job was more socializing than anything, since I already worked for the company, the interview was done by the entire team I was joining, and I knew a couple of them already from having worked for the company.
So this is really going to be my first for really real interview for job that isn't retail or otherwise highschool summer-jobby.
I just wish I knew how much of me feeling ill was nerves, and how much was actually illness.
