It's not like she blew me off. She just left with another guy, that's all.

What is even happening?

Oh, I bet Mac will get a kick out of that, msbelle.

Spoilers below for last night's episode of The Office.

My love for this show grows and grows. I was certain Michael was going to see through Andy, and was a little surprised when he didn't. I was taken aback that it ended where it did, and that Pam or Angela didn't come forward for Dwight, or try to intervene in some way.

Then I started getting suspicious. I wondered how much of everything was a set up -- of Andy, of Karen, and of us. I've seen it floated on LJ that Phyllis *knew* she was spilling the Jim/Pam beans to Karen. I'm starting to come around to that way of thinking. Then I started remembering how I'd been struck by Andy's talking head scenes. He sounded so much like a contestant on Survivor. I wonder what's really going on. I'm probably taking it too far with the Andy business, but I do think it's possible that Phyllis is as big of a Pam/Jim 'shipper as I am, and that she knew exactly what she was doing. Remember, Karen got off on the wrong foot with her, after all.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

How many other people get MLK Jr. day off

I do. Of course, I have every day off right now.

Bleagh. I feel very ick right now. And the thought of spending 5 hours of my life for an interview for a job I'm not sure I want is not helping with the ick. I have to keep reminding myself that it's "Practice, practice, practice" with a touch of "It might surprise you" thrown in.

Considering I haven't gone to work all week, I feel ridiculously worn-out.

How many other people get MLK Jr. day off

I do. Emmett does too. Monday is now his Mom's day to have him, but I don't know if she'll be working or not. So he might be with us.

As for weekend plans, I will be working on the book all weekend.

Please to wish JZ some non-fussy baby-ma because I'll be ensconced in cafes, caffeinated and eating scones. And writing.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Guys, I have some sad news.

I think I'm going to die.

Of tired bored hungry Friday cancer.

It's very sad.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I hate job interviews, but quite honestly, I got more comfortable after having gone on a few. (It had been three years since my last interview; skills get rusty.) It's important even if you don't want the job, because it's less pressure to perform, and you get a chance to practice your questions and answers.

I don't have a holiday until Presidents' Day. But I just discovered I still have something like 2.5 weeks vacation. I thought I'd burned through a lot more than that this summer and fall, but guess not. Anyway, we always get 9 holidays a year, so even if the actual observance falls on a weekend, we'll get a friday or monday off.

I'd like a nap, please.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I have MLK day off, but not Presidents' day. Or most of the other Monday ones, come to think of it.

OK, bon? You made me snort myself into wakefulness.
