I'm so evil and... skanky. And I think I'm kinda gay.

They are not mutually exclusive.

No, but me and those things currently are. Bottom line is I'm freaking cheap and can bumble along without.

Mom just sent me an email that freaked me out. Last time the subject line was a pet's name, it was cause it died. This time? Little One/Sprocket actually ventured out amongst strangers and was happy to do so. Made cuddly and all that shit, even with men, who she normally fears. This is a cat I drag out of hiding every visit and forcibly try to socialize. (Dad found her by a road when she was wee, probably just after her first heat and litter, with a broken pelvis and took her to their vet. She lived in the bathroom until her pelvis healed and has always been freaked by people, men especially.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

If I can complain about the Pepto commercial with the giant Godzillas and greek goddesses grabbing their asses to the "diarrhea" portion of the PB "Acid indigestion, stomach upset, diarrhea" ditty. It's FREAKING WEIRD.

I gotta admit, that variation on the macarena made me laugh.

Oh! the cute black kitty!

Okay. I should go file. Please give me a reason to avoid filing!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And...the listings are still not right.

I give up. My plans for the rest of the night will include nothing more energetic than lolling.

Maybe tomorrow.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Tragically, no wolf was available to huff, puff

3 pigs die in house fire they triggered by knocking over TV after breakout

BELGRADE, Serbia - A farmer's home in northern Serbia was destroyed in a blaze caused by three pigs that broke out of their pen, walked into the living room and knocked over the TV, police said Wednesday.

The television tube burst, starting a fire that spread through the house late Monday in Temerin, 50 miles, northwest of Belgrade, local police said.

No people were hurt, but the pigs perished.

There's a moral in here, somewhere....

But better yet, there's bacon in there too.

My triple macchiato came, I got a hug, and I'm trying to biofeedback myself into keeping low key. I'm much calmer than I was for my last post, so that's a start.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Sorry for the TV and the not feeling well and other general suckage, ita.

Glad to hear Raq and family are okay.

In me-me-me news, I have discovered I have only one shirt that will button up at the collar and one tie that doesn't come up short due to my apparently huge neck. Ugh. Thankfully, they're not completely repugnant together.

I would wear my suit, but unfortunately I wore it to the interview Wednesday and dropped it off at the dry cleaners today about an hour before the agency called and set up tomorrow's interview. Oy.

I sure am going to dazzle them at the interview tomorrow. [headshake] Glad I'm not super-hyped about this job.
