The Crying of Natter 49
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I know my saying it doesn't do a damn thing to make you feel better, but ita, you are not being a baby. You are doing as best you can (and possibly better,) and unfortunately, I fully recognize that's not what you want, because pain SUCKS.
Tomorrow's GA?
Re-run of tonight's at 8 pm tomorrow.
The garnet's a little orange-y for my taste, but the rubies are the perfect red
My garnet was nice and deep, the colour I like it. I'm not a big lover/owner of the faceted stones, but they seem to bother me less as I grow older.
staying in bed because of excrutiating pain is not being a baby
I don't want to be in bed. I want to be having a life. I don't want to be reaching for more muscle relaxants. I want to be doing kettlebell. I don't want to be waffling on begging a friend to deliver macchiatos--I want to be heading out to dinner with them instead.
At least hopefully the cable crap is fixed.
all of those are reasonable wishes.
Am I the only one who's noticed that Colbert's new word in the opening credits is... FREEM ??1? Huh?
The TWoP thread has been debating this--someone thought it was an abbreviation of "freedom," but someone else pointed out an interesting news item from a few weeks ago. Apparently, somewhere in NJ, a black bear was threatening the populance, and was killed by a Sgt. Freem. If that's where the word comes from, I love it!!
msbelle, how's the mac and you?
ita, I want all of those things for you too.
I am supposed to go to Vegas to tomorrow to see my mother. Given the death hold that The Sick has on me, I'm kind of unthrilled at the thought.
And, let's be honest, I kind of hate Vegas. Even if I didn't have The Sick, I still would be enh about going. But I'm sick and I wanna see my mommy.
today was his first day at afterschool and as his grandma was dropping him off there was screaming and crying. He was a little on edge tonight because of that stress, so going to bed had it's own issues. I bought him spiderman socks though. We had a whole discussion last night about sleep being scary and monsters in the basement and monsters at his windows and we decided that mommy and spiderman and superman and batman can beat up monsters and they keep the far far away.
Speaking of pretty boys, Travis Schuldt has really beefed up since the last season of Scrubs. And the writers are taking full advantage of that fact, bless 'em.
Liese, don't feel alone. Barring a lottery win I'm continental US-bound right along with you.
stressy stress... poor mac.
But it must be exciting to see him acquire language. how is he liking school, excluding afterschool?
I kind of hate Vegas.
The words are English, and yet....
there is no world or definition in which ita=baby. I hope tomorrow is better for you.
I'm currently watching the OC, taping CSI (why do I bother? I don't know,) taping tomorrow's GA and watching Ghost Whisperer (because no need to commit that to tape) AND I was watching This Old House during commercial breaks of Ugly Betty.
The shows are slightly different, but my evening will be the same.
I stopped at safeway on the way home, and they were having a buy one get one free sale on microwave popcorn.
