Zoe: Uh huh. River, honey? He's putting the hair away now. River: It'll still be there... waiting.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

That's ok, ita. I'll be happy to take all the Jack Black off your hands.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Has anyone reported a time for Bush's speech tonight? I'm very afraid he's going to ruin Friday Night Lights for me.

ETA: Looks like 9pm ET. I might be in the clear.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

R.I.P Lily Munster:

Known to Sondheim fans for inspiring (and debuting) "I'm Still Here."

My favorite thing by her is the film noir Criss Cross with Burt Lancaster. Gawd, she was beautiful.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Known to Sondheim fans for inspiring (and debuting) "I'm Still Here."

I just read that. I had no idea.

How could you not? From what I heard he wrote the song specifically for her after she talked about her long career in show biz from beauty queen to Lily Munster to singing opera at the Hollywood bowl.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's quite possible that my frustrated urges to stab Jack Black with toothpicks (see, Jesse? That's a lot of stabbing from my essence right there)

Ha.

Poor Puffy Vince. Although, in my head, Puffy Vince is also Approachable Vince, so I don't mind so much. (Puffy Vince looks like a guy I could actually go out with, I mean. Of course, I used to know a woman who actually did go out with skinny, pre-"Vince" Vinny, but that's neither here nor there.)

I got a hair cut as well.
