I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Hooray for the Midwest and $5.00 first-run movies!

Heh. And I'll bet I know exactly where you're going, too! Block E, yeah?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Yup, Juliana! I will toast you with my soft drink.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I haven't heard anything good about The Holiday.

I've been fairly productive today, and I could clean my bedroom for the win. Or run a couple errands. I just have to be in front of a computer at 5 for a recruiter call. Let's see if I can sell myself, and if this is something right to sell myself for.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

What was the movie where a bunch of humans from another planet go on a desperate search for water? They fight off some aliens along the way - at some point there's this weird time distortion thing, where things speed up and slow down... the hero and the girl have a baby during the climactic fight, and because of the time distortion the baby grows up into a man and joins in the fight.

Ice Pirates!

[eta: too late to be useful, but I was so excited that I knew the answer! Wasn't there an Ice Pirates poster on the wall in a scene in some recent movie?]

Speaking of movies, the bargain theater just down the street from my apartment will be showing Stranger Than Fiction starting this Friday. Yay! I'll finally be able to see it, and for only $2! They'll also have Flushed Away, which I'm debating seeing.

Always Anti-fascist!

Sorkin might have had a bad season(and I don't think it's as awful as all that, but a little too self-referential) but the haters are fuckin' aliterate. I like Bradley Whitford. And Harper's(Which isn't quite the hippie hootenanny they expect it to be...Brother Mouzone never missed that one.) I would love it if MP and BW got another show together. Assholes...what have *you* written today? Over there at the 101st Fighting Keyboards.

I've had a productive day of consumption. Got myself a food processor (thanks for the rec, Gud, B&D still make cheap ones) and a crockpot, which I meant to get, and an outdoor fireplace, which was an impulse buy but it was on clearance for $50. Also makeup, yay.

Once i've rested up from shopping I might dye my hair. Or maybe I will make that the reward for actully wrapping and shipping my siblings' xmas gifts...they have learned to be patient with me and my late gift sending ways, luckily.
