I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I've had a productive day of consumption. Got myself a food processor (thanks for the rec, Gud, B&D still make cheap ones) and a crockpot, which I meant to get, and an outdoor fireplace, which was an impulse buy but it was on clearance for $50. Also makeup, yay.

Once i've rested up from shopping I might dye my hair. Or maybe I will make that the reward for actully wrapping and shipping my siblings' xmas gifts...they have learned to be patient with me and my late gift sending ways, luckily.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Me too. I got my hair cut.

What's more productive than that?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Hey, we should do some Naan-Quest planning! What is the best day this weekend for a gathering? What time?

Here are some Indian restaurant options. I've been to Mt. Everest and Viceroy (both were excellent) and I've been wanting to try Tiffin.

Should I take this to the mailing list?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Did we know that Vince Vaughn got zombified ?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I've heard that the Viceroy of India is supposed to be really good. That description of Tiffin sounds very yummy!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I loved Ice Pirates!

It was such a campy parody of all the sci-fi tropes!

Course, back then, I thought a trope was some kind of disease, but...

Saturday is good for me. I could do Friday dinner, too.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

ita must have missed my squeeing (or I forgot to do it...)

I liked The Holiday a lot. Kate Winslet is brilliant, I finally figured out what everyone sees in Jude Law, Cameron Diaz didn't annoy the hell out of me, and Jack Black's character is excellent. (YJackBlackLoveMV).
