What was the movie where a bunch of humans from another planet go on a desperate search for water? They fight off some aliens along the way - at some point there's this weird time distortion thing, where things speed up and slow down... the hero and the girl have a baby during the climactic fight, and because of the time distortion the baby grows up into a man and joins in the fight.
Eventually they find water... on Earth!
Ice Pirates!!!! LOVE SO MUCH. So cheesy, but fun.
Ice Pirates!!!!
That's it! Thank you!
I don't know any of the movies you people are talking about. Weird.
Also, this has been the longest day ever, but yet oddly productive. Onward and upward.

It really has, except for the productive part.
ita, the humidifier is just collecting dust right now, because I can't convince myself I need one enough to see how it and Ozzie interact, so it will be nice to declutter.
In other news, Or Maybe 'Studio 60' Just Sucks, You Ever Consider That?
If you IMDB BBtS, check out who the screenwriter is.
It's like Tom's mission is to remind me what crap Sayles has been involved in. First Piranha, now this.
Ice Pirates!!!!
Starring Anjelica Huston, no?
Starring Anjelica Huston, no?
Yes, along with Ron Perlman and John Carradine. It's really not a good film, but it's fun and absolutely ridiculous.
I mean, when the taglines are:
SEE A Universe on the rocks! TREMBLE at the ferocious space possums! CATCH Space Herpie the Love Bug!
and
You have to be there to see it.
Ya gotta love it.
I wouldn't say that The Howling is as seminal a werewolf movie as The Wolf Man or An American Werewolf in London, but it's one of the more important and better made movies in the sub-genre. And I think the werewolves were designed by Rick Baker, though if memory serves someone else actually handled the construction.
Plus, where else can you see Dee Wallace turn into a cutesy Pekingese-faced werewolf ?
