"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

ooh saline nose spray! that might work. The pregnancy pillow I have, which is essentially the world's largest body pillow, absolutely rocks because I don't find myself rolling around so much.

I took Benadryl because it was on the list my doc said was okay. That might be the other reason I was able to fall back asleep for almost 2 hours.

Compassionately intolerant

Kat, a couple of people I know swear by a neti pot for chemical free sinus clearing and overall sinus health.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Thirding or fourthing the saline spray rec -- I have bad allergies anyway, but during pregnancy I swear my sinuses turned into blocks of solid concrete. Saline spray did wonders for returning them to something at least vaguely resembling fleshy passageways.

It's thin comfort now, but it is really, truly true that the horrid congestion and drippiness and other sinus miseries that come on with pregnancy resolve instantly with delivery -- by the time I was in the recovery room waiting for the feeling to return to my arms and legs, I was breathing again.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I am linking to this Wonkette thing just because it has a cool picture of an Orc holding a small crying child: [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Lurtz!

Maybe that picture from the new LotR movie: Three Orcs and a Baby.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Sigh. Lurtz. What a hottie.

Plus he's good with kids!

I mean, he hasn't eaten that one. Yet.

Our wings are not tired.

That part is very cool. The congestion I did fix with acupuncture, but the other annoyances were insta-gone. Like the stupid diabetes, the doctor said I could have sugar coated sugar immediately after birth. Of course the down side is having to go through labor to get there.

That qualifies as "good".
