omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

The last I looked, the Mini is a royal PITA to open up & install RAM.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The first generation Mini was simple, but IIRC they made it a lot more complex?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

If that's the case, then I'd order the Mini online and cough up the dough to have the max. amount of RAM installed.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Ask the Apple people to max out the ram. If you open it you void the warranty.

Does anyone have any idea why every time I click on a link to a YouTube video, I get "This video is no longer available" message? It can't be that the video really is no longer available, because no one else is complaining that they can't see the thing.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I get that sometimes. usually if i reload, it works. i have no clue why it happens though.

I did a bit of searching and you're not alone with the issue. Some recommendations other people have made are:

1. refresh browser
2. stop or uninstall Google Web Accelerator
3. install latest Flash player
4. add &fmt=18 to the end of the youtube url string

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Anyone know how I can get Gmail to stop bugging me about the new Tasks feature?

dcp - Feb 14, 2009 5:46:53 pm PST #9147 of 25501
The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Bugging you as in "check out this feature," or are you asking how to turn Tasks off?

For the first, I dunno, but for the second: on the Settings page, at the top, click on Labs, then scroll down to Tasks and click on Disable, then click on Save Changes.

This. Every time I log on there's a fucking popup telling me I can find "Tasks" below my Contacts link. I've been dismissing it for almost a week now.

I suspect turning the feature off would disable the popup as well, but I haven't decided yet whether it might be useful or not.
