You're looking for an adaptor that will mult one XLR connector (male or female?) to two XLR connectors (male-male or female-female?)?

Basically, yeah.

The deck has 1 set of 2-channel audio outputs (male). I want to export audio to 2 locations (not simultaneously).

The output to the SDI converter has to be balanced (XLR), and the output to the DVD recorder can be either balanced or not (it only has RCA inputs, but I have an audio converter box that will change XLR to RCA and vice versa).

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

so a pair of what I linked to should do the trick.

Our wings are not tired

The splitter should work, the only drawback is that it will drop the output voltage slightly so you won't getting a true +4dB output with them connected. In most applications that shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks guys, I'll look into those. (My supervisor is out of the office until the new year, so until she gets back all I can do is research.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Has anyone here assembled electronic kits? What with the soldering and whatnot?

I am building this: Pocket Piano Arduino Shield -- Electronic Musical Instrument Kit. Currently I'm soldering capacitors to the circuit board. I got four .1uF capacitors. On the circuit board, two of the places for these capacitors have a white box (with two vertical lines between the holes) printed surrounding the holes where the capacitors go. Two other places don't have the box with the lines (they just notate that the .1uF capacitors go there). Do the boxes with lines mean anything?

(There are two other capacitors, .01uF and 1uF. These also have the boxes printed around their holes.)

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

A group that I'm working with is looking at migrating our question/answer forum. We're currently using PunBB, and you can see the site at [link] We do have some techies, but we're looking for something that we might be able to add more plugins more easily, that is also easy to administer. Any suggestions? Thank you!!

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I'm looking for a simple regex that will change a string containing a url into a string containing that url as a href link with the full url as the text of the link. Anyone?
