I am suddenly curious about thermal paste.
Don't eat thermal paste.
Google Reader users - is there a way to tell it not to include friends' shared items in the Unread count?
Supposedly the new version of Google Reader has this option.
Huh. Jessica is one of my two Google Reader friends. Am I one of yours, Jessica?
You're not showing up in my list. Do you have shared items? I don't remember ever adding anyone to this list , so I have no idea how it's populated.
People, talk to me flat screens. I think I'm shopping for a 26", cheapass. I may farm it out to my brother because I hate this shit. But my crt is slowly dying and won't work past Feb anyway.

I wouldn't brush with it, either.
Well, not
again.
Do you have the Consumer Reports ratings, sarameg?
I've been shopping televisions myself, because I use rabbit ears in the office, so that setup disappears in February. I like my little CRT Sharp, but the last thing my office needs is another piece of equipment.
I like LG for cheap but good TVs. Target's the easiest option if you want it now, but you can probably find better prices online.
If you're a Costco member, their Visio line (which I think is actually made by Toshiba or someone) is dead cheap, and will give you a perfectly decent picture, especially at 26".
yes, google reader has the ability to hide unread counts for shared items.
I like my 26" Dynex TV just fine, and it was less than $400 including tax at Best Buy.
The dynex at BB was just under $300 today. I'll keep looking online and check out the post-xmas sales, maybe. Thanks for the brand reccs.
Mom gets consumer reports, so I'll ask her.
