iPhone question. E-mail app. Right now I have just my .mac account on it. I've been thinking about adding my work Exchange account. But I don't want to have a merged inbox. I like to keep them separate, but would like to be able to access work e-mail from my hip when I can't get to the laptop. So, how does the phone deal with multiple e-mail accounts?

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
I miss being able to fax. But with only mobile phones there's no line to plug in, which we had with Vonage.
you can always get an efax account. If you have a scanner, you're golden.

very easily. The only place it's combined is on the notification on the home screen. the little number next to the email icon tells you how many messages you have in total.
maxemail is also good.
I just checked my email from my phone and printed it to my new printer. God, I love technology.
Is there a way to force-eject a DVD that's in use from OSX (Leopard)?
The shitty DVD software on the office workstation burned some corrupt files onto a DVD data disc I was using to transfer said files to my Mac, and now I can't get the disc out. The "stop copying" button in the dialog box isn't responding.
(The original files are fine and I was able to transfer them using a USB key instead, but I'd really like to use my DVD drive and I can't restart for another hour because I'm uploading in another window.)
I don't have a Mac in front of me at the moment, but can't you do that from the Disk Utilities (is that what it's called?) program?
I suppose it's possible the copy program is still open and has a lock on a file. You might need to kill that process to remove the lock? Or just force-quit Finder?
Or maybe wait until someone who knows more about Macs to show up?
Jessica,
if it isn't ejecting, you might try shutting down the computer and see if you can eject normally after restart.

Yeah, but she's doin' stuff and can't shut down for a while....

What Tommyrot said - I'm wondering if there's an option that doesn't include restarting so I don't have to interrupt my upload (which still has another 45 minutes to go).
If you go to Force Quit → Finder → Relaunch, it would probably free up the DVD drive, but I would advise against doing that since it could interfere with the upload in your other window.
