Can you read Buffistas.org on it?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Can you read Buffistas.org on it?

Yes. It is someone of a PITA in that I have to scroll past all the stuff on the left of b.org to get to the posts, but it works OK. And it remembers my login. I've used it to read Natter, and posted a few times....

Only $100, too.

Hey! I have VirginMobile, so I could switch over to that phone. ::is tempted::

Yeah, I had a cheapo VirginMobile phone, and the battery was on its last legs. I was gonna buy a new $50 phone, but then I saw this one was only $50 more....

You know what's holding me back? I have the Snapper, and it's just the right size for a certain zippered compartment in my pocketbook, so I can always lay my hands on it and easily get at it if I'm busy walking around or something. A larger phone would upset the convenience....

Yeah, this one is about the same size as my last one. It fits OK in my pocket (except sometimes buttons get accidentally pressed when it's in there).

Oh, I figured out how to scroll rapidly on my VM phone. That makes this thing more useable for b.org.

I'm very irritated. I can't get b.org on my brand new RAZR, and that's part of why I decided to pay the extra $20 a month for unlimited internets access on my phone.

I'm really baffled as to why your phone can load the page, but mine can't. Is there something I can do to my phone to change that?

I'm not sure how cellphone browsers work. I think some cell services do some pre-processing of web pages (like, say, turning tables into inline text) but I'm not positive about this.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

So, I have this external hard drive, just a small 60 gig portable. And I set up the file system in Windows, and all the permissions to be open access. When I move it to my Mac, though, it says I only have read access, even though I deliberately set it up so that everyone could read and write. What's going on? Is there a way to change this that doesn't involve wiping the drive, because that is an ass-pain, last-ditch option here. But I need to be able to write to the thing.
