Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

DAMMIT! I don't know when I'm ever going to be able to FUCKING UPDATE anything ever again.

I have been stealing Internet for a week now. They shut off our DSL briefly because I was behind on the payments. I fucking paid up, but now the DSL won't sync up. I called Earthlink Customer Support, they failed to help me, and told me they'd escalate the ticket, and somebody would call me back in 24 hours.

THAT WAS THREE FUCKING DAYS AGO. I DON'T FUCKING HAVE TIME TO DEAL WITH THIS SHIT! I need FUCKING INTERNET BACK.

Everywhere I try and steal Internet is SO FUCKING SLOW. This disk image will take THREE FUCKING HOURS TO DOWNLOAD here off the hospital wifi.

I DON'T HAVE THREE FUCKING HOURS. I'M SO FUCKING FRUSTRATED TODAY.

Yeah. I'm sure I'll be by this weekend. I'm just over this DSL thing right now. Okay, I'm gonna go meditate or something and try and get into work mode.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Sean,

if you get a Starbuck's card (just put $5 on it) and use it to pay for an item, you can qualify for a starbuck's acct, which gives you 2 free hours of internet a day.

you just need to use your card 1x a month.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I got my Pizmo powerbook working somewhat again. It's been down since the F2f in Madison, when I think it took a tumble and jarred the HDD.

I found an ancient 10 GB HDD I had formatted for a Windows laptop a few years ago, (it was either the 10 gn or an old 850 Mb...) and finally managed to get the Pizmo to recognize a newly-minted install CD of Tiger.

It's a tight squeeze, but it's working. Now if I can squeeze Firefox, and some other basic apps on it, it should work for now.

I lost the driver for the 3rd party 802.11g Wifi card, tho, I may need to slip Andi's Airport card in there to fool it into installing the components, first.

Anyone have any opinions on Filezilla as a free ftp client?

Filezilla seems stable enough. We use it at work for our ftp sites. It can be passworded or anonymous like all good FTP servers.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I've used Filezilla for years. It's easy and the price is right.

Coding and Sleeping

I use BlazeFTP and have really liked it. It is free as well. It's just another option, I've never used Filezilla, so I have no opinion on it.
