Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

"Archive and Install" is always your best bet for upgrading Mac OS X.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Awesome, thanks.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

None of us here at work have had any problems going from Tiger -> Leopard. (Although one cow-orker had a hell of a time getting the Vista side of a dual-boot setup to recognize its registration code.)

The usual upgrade advice (have a backup!) always applies, but it's been spooky smooth for a good half-dozen of us who've upgraded a range of models, plus a handful of installs on new machines.

No experience with FCS2.

have y'all looked at the google home page today? They got the Google getting sucked into a black hole from the LHC. Rather entertaining, I thought.

Does anyone here have a Blackberry Curve? If so, do you like it, and does it have any trouble loading websites that have a lot of data on them?

Assuming FCS is Final Cut Studio, the only thing to watch out for about the archive install is that there's many gigabytes of data files that FCS installs in /System/Library/Application Support or thereabouts. If you are tight on space, you might need to delete that from the Previous System Folder before doing the FCS install.

Thanks Rob, I'll look out for that. Would the same apply to an upgrade? We're running an older version of Studio now.

Generally if you click on a Google image, it gives you a good idea.
