I tried that, i can't find it. Maybe it was a freaking .tif or something. ARGH. Okay, more annoying than problematic. Thanks for the suggestions.
On my work XP machine, Mozilla's graphics cache is here:
C:\Documents and Settings\tomsusername\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\default.m13\Cache
The files are all without any extension. If I open them with Mozilla I can see the images.
How about going through your browser history and seeing if you can download it again, or figure out the filename?
I clear the history every time I close the program. Although I do actual work on the computer, I don't want someone at work accidentally finding the Buffistas :)
I'm going through hidden files now. I was hoping that there was an easier way, that they'd all be in one folder. Thanks for the advice.
Aargh! I broke my U3 flash drive's software. I must have yanked it out before it was completely done ejecting, and not only does it not autostart anymore, I can't even manually run U3.exe to get to the password prompt.
Any ideas? I don't want to crack it, just to recover and get U3 running again.
eta: Never mind. There was a newer version of U3 and upgrading it got me back into the drive.

oh, that's cool. My u3 drive crapped out on me the other day, wouldn't let me add any documents to it (it was empty) Nice to know there might be a fix.
I have a question about the Digital-TV changeover. Does this affect you if you have cable?
I ask because I'm thinking of buying the TV and DVD player of my colleague whose apt I'm moving into. He doesn't have cable now, but does it matter how old the TV is if I'm planning on getting cable?
And, how much should I offer him for the (26" or so) TV and DVD player?
Didn't need to be said twice.

From what I understand, no. The government mandate is for over the air broadcasts, cable service is whatever the cable company wants to do to deliver content.
