Just checked and the activation servers are down and have been going down all day. It's leaving folks in Sean's situation with phones bricked half way through activation. Even the stores can't activate new phones right now.

You'd think they would have learned after last time. I finally got my phone working again but I can't get any apps on it. (Not that I'm complaining at this point.)
