Simon: I'm trying to put this as delicately as I can... How do I know you won't kill me in my sleep? Mal: You don't know me, son. So let me explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

You know who else is awesome? Tom Scola.

Thanks, Tom - that bit of xsl code does exactly what I want.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kee-rist. I can't find Vista drivers for my Scanmaker 5900. Remind me why this upgrade was a good idea again? It's not a hinky scanner!

I found what seems to be a hacked ScanWizard. It at least detects the scanner and does a preview scan. More testing to come.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

all this talk of cameras. I have a couple point and shoot digital cameras that do not need to make the move to Dallas. If anyone is wanting, I'm happy to give to a good home.

I do not have model numbers off the top of my head, but:

1) Sony floppy disk media. Has optical zoom (I think 10x). I also have a pile of floppy disks to send. Problem being, I no longer have a floppy drive.

2) HP USB flash card camera. I think its 2 megapixels, but not sure. It was free with printer purchase ages ago. I will say, its a bit slow at taking the pics, so action or quick candids will be a challenge.

E-mail profile addy if interested. Just help with shipping, and they are yours.

Hey are there other better free blogging outfits out there besides blogger? Something that would be relativey easy to use and would require minimal coding knowledge.

I don't know.

See?

What defines better? What are blogger's perceived shortcomings?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So I'm finally getting around to trying to get the damn headphone jack out of my Mac.

Tom, you said to see if it's accessible from the inside. It's not, really, but it might be if I could take the fan out. Is this doable? (I tried gently pulling on it to see if it would just slide out, but no luck. If there's a latch or something it's not immediately apparent.)
