Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
okay...it says 22 states. how do you find out if you're one of them? that website is less than helpful.
That's where the secret part comes in...
Apparntly you have to answer the questions here [link] to find out if you qualify.
I had to search google for "AT&T $10 DSL Plan" and wade a bit.
there was even an AT&T statement that "no one wants the $10 plan"
ha! it's so secret, you can't call to find out about it, but it's also not available on their website. it's brilliant marketing!
Oh. I thought it was so secret we were going to have to hold DCJ down and beat it out of him.
thanks, DCJ. i guess since it's telling me my address can't be found i'm not one of the lucky few.

Does anyone have a favorite digital media server they could recommend?
I have about 3000 DVDs at work taking up way too much space (currently in about 15 albums) and would love to be able to ingest them onto a networked server instead.
[eta: these are screeners, not commercial DVDs, so there are no extras or special features or anything that we'd need the actual discs for. Just a bunch of TV shows and outs reels. We would need the ability to pull them into FCP to create clips from.]
HMOG.
That's right holy Mother of Gonzo
I paid $170 for this just three-four months ago.
