My employer seems to have taken my "your wish is my command" statement a little too literally this morning. They want me to find a way to encourage YouTube to pull a video that a former employee posted about an in-house activity. Nothing racy - but with all my eyerolling, I can't seem to find Chad Hurley's direct number in my contact info.
Should you or anyone you know have an idea (one that differs from my initial reaction, which would stick this post in COMM) about how to engineer this, I would appreciate hearing from you.
Have you tried flagging the video, Sox?
Have you tried flagging the video, Sox?
not yet. I think they hope it will just disappear with no fuss... mainly because there are parental permissions involved that weren't obtained. because, you know... OMG Technology!
I'd think that flagging it is the only recourse you have--and if there are parental permissions involved that's stronger recourse than it initially appeared.
I think you're right too. Thanks Ita.
This is another weird question- I am thinking about re-getting internet at home. I would kinda like it to be high speed enough so I can, like, watch Youtube.
What I don't want to do is call anyone to sign up. I would like to be able to sign up on-line and have them tell me the price. Are there any places that do this, so you think? I can't find the option with any of the large companies here (Time Warner or Frontier) but I wonder if it would be worth it to look for smaller companies....
Weird. I know they want to upsell me, and I just want to know how much it is, order it, pay for it, and not get all nervous!
Might be worth checking if you are in an area that has coverage for the secret $10 AT&T DSL plan
