I do some shooting in RAW and I use Aperture for my processing.

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
I shoot both RAW and JPG concurrently, and archive both, but I rarely even look at the RAWs. When I do it's in Photoshop. I also have Olympus's RAW tools package, but I haven't installed it.
What is RAW?
What is RAW?
Meat, before it's cooked.
Or some kind of professional wrestling event.
Native format for the camera.
AKA, really, REALLY big image files.

Ahhh.
Is Aperture your photo app of choice whether you're shooting in RAW or not?
Yeah, I tend to run most things through Aperture and then use Photoshop as needed.
I'm trying to install software on the Vista box, and it's not looking good for the RAW. Installing the Nikon codec (so Windows gallery can handle them) crashed the box, and the software that shipped with the camera won't install either. Picasa won't import them.
I'd just about resigned myself to Vista, but I can't believe it's breaking my balls over this.
