You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Native format for the camera.

AKA, really, REALLY big image files.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is Aperture your photo app of choice whether you're shooting in RAW or not?

Our wings are not tired

Yeah, I tend to run most things through Aperture and then use Photoshop as needed.

I'm trying to install software on the Vista box, and it's not looking good for the RAW. Installing the Nikon codec (so Windows gallery can handle them) crashed the box, and the software that shipped with the camera won't install either. Picasa won't import them.

I'd just about resigned myself to Vista, but I can't believe it's breaking my balls over this.

It looks a little complicated to get it running, but I have a Canon model that will run this. I may have to attempt it.

Telnetting into TiVos, playing chequers on cameras--will wonders ever cease?

I want to telnet into Tivo from my camera. I'm greedy like that.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I want my Roomba to telnet into my TiVo from my camera.
