Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, you guys, I think my procrastination paid off a little. After reinstalling iTunes and rebuilding my library last night, I have had it. Just now I got to find the computer I was looking at the other day, and see this deal: [link] ! It's got the 2 GB of RAM, which is good, but a smaller hard drive than the other, but still way more than I currently have (and am not using all of), which I guess helps the price. AND the rebate part is only $30, so if I fuck that up, I'm not screwing myself too badly. So I guess I'm doing that after work.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I now want to outfit my parents house with Insteon lighting for security reasons. It would actually be a really good idea--I wonder if it would be doable, moneywise.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Daisy Jane, I passed the question in you post Daisy Jane "Buffistechnology 3: "Press Some Buttons, See What Happens."" Apr 15, 2008 9:27:13 am PDT to a client of ours (after editing "clusterfuck" to "disaster"), and he suggests checking out this link: [link]

eta: That seems to be a generic Lotus support page. Hopefully the other person will have more....

He also had me forward the question on to one of his IT people who uses Lotus....

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

My albums are ending up in reverse order on my ipod. Is there any way for me to download them the right way round? I'm dragging the entire record from my library to my device. Do I have to drag the songs individually?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

If you click on the device icon so it shows you the loaded playlist, you should be able to rearrange things pretty easily.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Thank you, tommyrot! It will be really helpful if I can come back to this guy with, "Meeting cancellations are known to blah blah blah when do de do do." instead of "I have no idea how that happened!"

Looks pretty amazing. I'll have to pick up Melodyne when it comes out with the new version.
